The Sayville Golden Flashes baseball team won their 2008 Home Opener versus a tough Bayport team!
Sayville won 12-5. The game was closer than the score shows as Sayville was up in the 6th 6-3.

A 6 run 6th inning put Sayville up.

Jon Poli went 3 for 4 and Sophomore Eddie Rupp had two hits for Sayville.

Glen Hudson got his first win of the season going 6 innings letting up 2 unearned runs for Sayville.

Sayville will take on Hampton Bays on Thursday, March 27th at 4:30pm.
